Draining dry-sump oil lines? Is this needed?

Interesting, I have never done that and my oil levels after a change have always been within spec.

I don't think we need to add this to our oil change repertoire. Our Zs have the BIG oil tank and if I recall I've added about 10 qts at each oil change and that put it right on the full mark. Even a small amount remaining in the lines won't do any harm as long as you're changing the oil on a regular basis.
Nice, informative vid. The desire was there before. Now I REALLY, REALLY want a modded C6 Z!!!

mmmh, that piece about the alternator is VERY interesting. I am curious whether this is going to be a problem on the cammed Z/28 too or not. But hey, that car sounds exactly like mine
