I'm just curious as to why this setup on Camaro, produces less power. Thanks! |

The dyno on the stock, are very similar, however when TVS was added, I see the Corvette shows a higher number, even with smaller blower (1900). My only guess is that, the TVS2300 draws more power from the engine to produce power compared to a less drawing TVS1900. So, the end result, TVS2300 has a less final number. That's just my guess! |

That would be cool. Brian was saying earlier in this post though that the demand was overwhelmingly for the TVS2300, not the 1900... and you have to give the people what they want

I for one am curious what the horsepower required to spin both to 8 psi , as well as the temp increase profiles between the two. I’d also love to see a PSI/RPM chart for both to better understand the characteristics of both. In the long run, how much less would the 1900 cost? Perhaps the savings is not significant enough to even consider. BlownChevy, are you out there????

Just some points to consider! |

thats why they make different and additional mods available.. My concern is that the car doesn't loose the ability to be a trouble free daily driver for 100K miles.. A lot of the peripherial drivetrain parts have a built in limit to the amount of stress they can withstand for 100K miles with x amount of hp and torque .... The bulletproof nature of GM's product is too cool a feature to loose no matter what the hp increase is. just one guys opinion.. and there are no wrong choices ...

The dyno confirmed what Jerry has been stating for years – “Run the smallest supercharger that will provide your target boost level. It will be more responsive (make boost sooner) and will require less horsepower to drive.” Straight from the man himself. |
