Im still confused on what would be a better option for me seeing i have a 2011 would vararram be the best choice for hp gains or would another intake with a cai scoop create more hp?

I would think the only ones who could answer that are people who have owned both units. all I can do is give you a review of my experience. But I have a Vararam, Ported Throttle body and the Black Isolator and have been very happy.

I have taken Automatic SS owners for drives and they say it feels very close to how their cars feel.

For me the biggest power gains came from the Black Isolator.

When I had the V6 2010 1LT, I also purchased and installed the INJEN. I was extremely happy with the performance and noticeable increases. Because of the way it sits low Ian's in front of the wheel well, I was worried about hydro issues, but had not one problem. Although the install took considerably more time than the likes of the AIRAID or ROTOFAB set ups. My new CAI in my V8 2SS was a much quicker intall that sat directly under the hood.

I don't know about the Vararam intake being loud. I did notice the exhaust note was much more aggressive sounding after the install.

Thanks Matt_RS.

One point of caution about the Vararam. It does rub on the hood insulation and after a couple years I now have a wear hole in the Hood liner felt.
