After reading this article it is clear what my next truck will be, I can't believe the numbers this thing was throwing down.

I would love to get a used D-Max but the prices are rediculous. At least 5-10K more than a gasser.

Looks like the DM in the last video was crop dusting.. LOL
Question guys.. Could these trucks run the same numbers on Veggie Oil?

I know more about the Cummins then the Duramax but it's not unusual for the 5.9 Cummins to be running over 700lbs to the wheels with an edge or bully dog tuner on tow/haul mode. My truck weighs >6000lbs dry though so I don't think I'll be racing it any time soon. Some of the crazier guys are running propane injection and hitting north of a 1000lbs of torque at the wheels on their daily driver truck. |

Biodiesel on the other hand would yeild the same power and not risk your injectors. Quote:

I wonder if they launched it in 4WD to get that 0-60 time? My brother has a '06 duramax with CAI, Exhaust, EFI Live, SunCoast transmission, and a newly installed AirDog Lift Pump.

yes... they spin their tires at 50+. Plus, the coolest things about diesels is the the massive amount of black smoke it produces when you kick it.

I'm sure it was. They usually take the powerstrokes out because even the Ford Owners know that their engine is poop lol.

Yes they are launching in 4wd. You can't get a 2wd truck to hook up unless you do some major mods to the suspension, so major that it would become just a race truck.

Figured. My brother had to launch his in 4WD at the strip to get it to hook, and even still he spun tires half way up the track. Needs some drag tires I guess.

I own a 6.6 Duramax with Efi-Live, intake and exhaust and it pushes 500HP and will roll coal smoking out the entire 5 lane free way
