Some posts apparently mentioned that in their cases, this happened after the installation of their CAI unit that somehow interfered with a main electrical grounding. Probably I will need to think about this one before planning to upgrade or not.
My car is 100% stock.

Thanks Red Hot ZL1. I will check tomorrow with my dealer if I don't have this issue on my '14 ZL1, besides of my "Service suspension system" that appeared on my dash this weekend.

Mine started with the suspension warning then the power steering warning. I think, depending on where the loose connections are, they could be related.

I guess I'm joining the club. Happened to me cruising yesterday at about 50mph. Let sit overnight and still not working. Turns on now before I even start the car. 28,000mi and my warranty is up

the "fix" for my car was to remove the belly pan and push every connection going to the rack and remove and reinstall the ground on the drivers fender. It never happened again after the initial 560 mile incident.

Has to be loose wiring....

I wonder how many have installed CAI and messed with the NEG ground wire?

Mine still doesn't work. Been driving it like this since my last post smh. I tried removing and reinstalling all the connections. I don't have a CAI Cold Air Intake but I'm going to try to relocate the ground to the post in front of the positive battery terminal and see what happens.

The dealer said the power steering module has failed and slapped me with a near $2200 bill for a rack replacement since I'm outside of warranty. So before I buy a used one I'm going to try all the preliminary things that I can.

I am starting to research this topic since it is unfortunately popular and if mine goes, I'd like to understand the system and potential problems better. I found this article, which I thought was really useful. I apologize if it is basic information to some, but for beginning research I thought it helpful.
