Probably quicker if you call your dealer for that answer right now. Rather than the 30 answers you're gonna get here and still end up calling your dealer.

Call OnStar and have them run a diagnostic on your car. They can do that for you 24/7/365.

Yea but I would not even worry about onstar the dealer will pull codes. This is not a light to be ignored no matter what onstar would pull I would want a tech to look at it.

I'd still take it to the dealer. The light went on and even though it went off, there may still be a problem. Loose wire? Intermittent part? Could be a number of things. Take it to the dealer and let them take a look. Can't hurt and it could help you avoid a larger problem down the line.

Mine came on today also but that was after doing a baseline dyno run. Print out shows they ran it up to about 147mph before shutting it down. Luckily the light went off after 15 minutes of normal (40mph) driving on the streets. Maybe I'll have OnStar run a diagnostics report for me tomorrow, just in case.

The way the car and OnStar are integrated, the codes that your dealer pulls with the OBD-II computer hardwired to the connector are exactly the same codes that OnStar can read via satellite.

Yeah bud, onstar will be direct assistance at this point. Why were you driving with track control off, unless you wanna do a burn out or something in that area. I will be keeping track control on so my car remains grippy. Aren't you suppose to keep it on? I dunno but in my last car track control would come on by itself.

i had that on my colorado and i always turned it off. didn't like it. if i started to spin the tires a bit it would kick in and cut the gas off to the engine for a second so the tires could grip. wasn't cool when i pulled out on a semi-busy street and needed to punch it so i wasn't going too slow for the flow of traffic. i stepped on it and nothing happened

so when i get my camaro, i'll have it off most of the time, if not all the time.
