I love the looks of the CAI inc one more and I believe it performers better from what I have read.
Thanks for all the info! Do you know of any places I can compare pricing?

Deffinitly look at the sponsors here on the forum. They have some package deals and things like that. Also some of 20$ off coupons also. Just go through the sponsor vendor section and look through the v6 bolt ons

Edit sorry the v8 bolt ons

Figured you were a v6 since this was in the v6 section. But regardless of v8 or v6 the box that houses the cone looks the same. The only thing that is different is the pipe that goes to your motor

I'd go with CAI Inc over K&N for sure - K&N was having problems with their cold air intakes triggering check engine lights. I think it was resolved, but who knows.

Had to re-read what the hydrocoating was - looks like you got a floral design all over your covers

AS stated "You do not have to Relocate the Washer Bottle." I will say this, for any of the Cold Air Intakes out there, the GM washer bottle is Very Big down below where your air comes in. I have a Roto-Fab CAI and I did not do the relocate at first, when I did do the relocate I notice an improvement in the cars sound and also performance, I also later added the ADM Race Air Scoop to my set up and I LOVE THE RESULTS. I also have the GM Performance Exhaust (with Tips) and with all of this I am Very Happy. The only thing I have left to add are a set of DT Shortie Headers. Hopefully I an get them installed shortly.

+1 for CAI!

Also, if you do want to relocate the bottle, there is more than one option out there to choose from. I got my kit from a friend that was trading up to a SS so my combo was CAI, ADM scoop, and Apex washer bottle. If I was choosing from the get go, I think I'd have done the Roto Fab bottle as the internal volume of it seems more like stock and it has a very OEM fit and finish where it sits behind the box.

The Apex bottle is fine also and bolts to the side of the ADM scoop with a hose going up to a filler neck mounted in, on, or near the box (mine is in the box).

Check my album for install pics.
