V6 to 1LE??? Poll - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

so ive kinda noticed a trend here. there seems to be alot of v6 guys trading up to the 1le. if this is you why the 1le and not a regular SS??

Because i race in http://www.sscc.us/ The V6 did fine but had to be working super hard,and didn't want to blow the motor up,as well i do track days,and it's just too hard on the V6.The 1LE is just what the Dr. ordered.

So I didnt trade up from a V6 Camaro, I actually had a truck. With that said I think that my thought process and reasoning was probable very similar. I have always loved the look of the 5th Gen(owned a 4th Gen in highscholl), however, I just never had the desire strong enough to buy. It was the VALUE of the 1LE that made me decide to pull the trigger. The SS is such an amazing car, but that $3500 package transforms this car into something truely special and I HAD to have one for myself.

Pretty much this^..I had an 11' SS and to me this car is on another planet compared to it......Love my 1LE

Never had a V6 Camaro. I did however test drive 2 SS Camaros a year ago, and was not impressed. Bought the 1LE when I learned how the SS was transformed. Now with 500 miles driving it, I feel Chevrolet should make all SS Camaros with this package. Time will tell, if they include some, or all of it's components in future SS Camaros.
