LS3 Mufflers on V6-Anyone Dyno any gains?

Hi,

Does anyone have a Dyno results after swapping from the restrictive factory V6 mufflers to the LS3 Mufflers?

Flowmaster Axle back kit claims gains of 20 lbs of torque at 2200 RPM's and 13 HP at 5500 RPM's for the V6. Would imagine LS3's on the V6 would have equal type numbers to Flowmasters?

thanks
J

LOL!
After reading the Jannetty thread on CAIs and what others are getting with their setups, Caveat Emptor! Don't know of anyone getting anything like that aftermarkets. There are several forum members that have been dynoing on their dime, every change that they do and posting the results. A couple are helping dial in a tune. Scrmng has posted his DIYs and affordable aftermarket axle backs with results.
How does the L99 sound? Or the big L99 resonator with the LS3? Anybody?

So is video by flowmaster showing dyno gains I quoted and results FAKE? I agree numbers seemed high for just swapping essentially mufflers and adding clamps and tips...

No, I'm saying that I haven't seen anyone doing any muffler change getting that from a dyno result. If someone has flowmasters, or anything else, on here and has done a dyno please chime in.

I wouldn't say that, I think it is something of course. Keeping my fingers crossed that they will figure out what happened.
However I have came into a situation where I will not be able to buy anything for a while.
Bad times.

Fake? How did you manage to come to that conclusion? The tune is very real, I can set things are changing such at spark, A/F, TM, etc. So the tune is definitely NOT FAKE... The result are not as expected but as I've pointed out, very strongly i might add, it is way to early to make any judgments on the results of the tune. There is a reason it's called BETA TESTING... We need to give Vince time to review our latest data and go from there...

Here is a link to some dyno results. Some are from where the Camaro is dynoed at a manufacturer, others where they are from the forum members.
