ZL1 Owners - Are you happy with your transmission choice?

ZL1 Owners - Are you happy with your transmission choice? I am one of the ones stuck at 2300 and ordered a 6 speed. I am considering changing to automatic. For those that already have a ZL1 are you happy with your transmission choice?

They are both 6 speeds, but I have the M6, and for me I love it. There have been so many threads on this subject, it really comes down to personal preference.

My SS had an automatic, but I went with the manual for the ZL1. I think I made the right choice. It's been a while since I drove a manual car on a regular basis. I wasn't sure if the manual made sence since most of my driving will be crusing in town and when on the highway once you get up to speed you don't shift. My daily driver broke down last week so I have been driving the ZL1 for my daily commute. I have enjoyed every minute of it, even having to constantly shift at lights and stop and go traffic. I couldn't be happier.

I LOVE my Hydra-Matic whether I use paddle shifters or let it do its thing automatically. It's like it learns from your input sort of like having A.I..
