My left leg has had lots of surgeries due to motorcycle crashes, I went with auto since I daily my camaro and it would be a pain to drive a manual every day. So it depends on how you'll drive it.

Also the power differance will not matter, as the gearing in the auto makes up for the hp diff.

It really depends. Heavy traffic? Like paddle shifters? Want faster 1/4 times? Go with the auto.
Like to rev your engine and make the earth shake? Like to do burnouts? Like to drift? Go with the manual.

I personally like my auto just because I can use my tap shift if I want or just put her in drive if I'm lazy

Get the auto and get it tuned PDQ. Congrats on the new car!

Do a search for transmission problems and you will see the manual has lots of issues with the clutch, notchy shifts and broken half shafts from wheel hop. The auto appears to be much more reliable even with a blower and the trans can be tuned just like the motor for improved performance. (AFM turned off as well) The auto never misses a gear on the track if that would matter to you down the road.

I say get auto if you have mass traffic, but if you do not go manual. I got auto only because the DC area sucks for traffic, and of course my wife cannot drive manual and she sure as hell was not going to learn on my car.

Really huh sounds like a personal problem someone should fix.......I love my manual and used to own a 2011 vert auto, where you live i see no problem getting the manual and it definitely is better than the auto and more fun to drive......and sounds like the last guy has a loose u joint.....
