2014 Consumer Brochure includes the Z/28
My dealer called today and said they just received the new Camaro brochure for the 2014 models and that it included the Z/28. I won't have my hands on one until monday but was wondering if anyone else has seen the new brochure and if so, does it put any more meat on the Z/28 bone they have thrown us, so to speak?
I sure hope it gives us some new info for (justice) pete's sake. |

That brochure lists the Z/28 torque at 500+ ft*lbs. If that was just released, maybe they are hinting at changes made to the LS7 to bump power.
Edit: The article is from March, so who knows. |

From what I understand that brochure was for the dealers only back then.
I'll find out Monday if this one has anything different, but not getting my hopes up just to have them dashed... once again. |

Picked up brochure from my dealer, very nice.
Z/28 is not listed in the Specs, but it does state "estimated 500 horsepower and 470 lb.-ft. of torque." I did not see anything that we had not heard. Shown in Summit White. Late availability. Please note: I have not had time to read thoroughly, just a quick scan. I will read all of it later today. Janet |

Thanks Janet... as I kinda figured, no real new info.
My best guess is that we won't hear anything concrete on pricing until after we hear the ring times, actual horsepower etc..... and that info is coming in slower than a trickle. I guess we just have to feel that everyday that goes by gets us one day closer to finding out what really is going to happen with the Z/28. |

I really hope that carbon fiber heat extractor fits and is made available for the SS. Wow!

Thank you for the brochure. I had always assumed that the 427 was going to be a big block, but that is obviously not the case.
