I agree... industrial strength Velcro will definitely do the job and also 3M adhesion promoter before you put the velcro strips on.. guarantee you will not have a problem and it will not be permanent if you ever have to take the hood liner off.. we use industrial strength Velcro to mount miles systems ( laser tag) on our military vehicles for training and do not have any issues.

I know we have used the industrial Velcro for something in the past. That is a thought. Good to know that Silicone caulking can be removed if need be too. Good suggestions.
