Looking for an aggressive, yet not loud exhaust

I have a somewhat big cam in my 2012 SS and would like to increase the sound of it without getting too loud. I'm running long tube header currently without cats (although I may put the cats back).

I'm looking for a lower pitch. Think of the sound of a Harley at idle.

Suggestions?

Our Thunderstorm system sounds great with a longtube setup, aggressive like you mentioned yet still tame enough not to draw the attention of the boys in blue while just cruising.

We have these on sale currently too with free shipping!

The Borla S type sounds great on a Mustang....Im sure it would have the same nice low growl on the Camaro.

You have tons of options. I'd recommend the Stainless Works Retro Chambered system. It isn't their loudest system but it is fairly aggressive with a good deep rumble. Very high quality system as well.

Depends on what you think is loud. My long tubes with Corsa gets attention all the time. My buddies tell me its loud as hell behind the car and sounds fantastic Yet in the car cruising it sounds almost stock....your loud is different then my loud. My setup scares people...yet in the car ...its perfect.

I was thinking American Thunder would be better.

Corsa Sport....304 stainless...excellent quality and sound overall really good imo. Not sure of the price where you are op but in Canada its a little pricey at $1800.

We work closely with Corsa to produce our custom exhaust systems that are great and have noise cancelling built in to prevent drone and also sounds great under load, but when just cruising isn't unbearably loud.

We offer a number of Cat-back and Axle-back Exhaust systems for your 5th gen. From mild to wild we've got something for everyone. I have included a link below to all of the exhaust options that Flowmaster has for your ride. Sounds like you'd prefer something along the lines of our American Thunder or Outlaw systems. All of the exhaust systems in the link are built in the USA from 409S stainless steel and have a limited, lifetime warranty. Take a peek at the link and if you have any questions or need additional recommendations please do not hesitate to PM me or give us a ring at 707-544-4761.
