CONGRATS!!!

Not to mention the obvious health benefits of quitting, no more smelly clothes, etc, etc, but also when you realize the money you save that can be spent on your car! Or anything else that DOESN't harm your health.

Im very motivated and its exciting everyday knowing that I'm beating one of the most addicting hard to quit problems ever.

I already have more energy, and generally feel better.. Granted I get that odd cough still from time to time which I hear lasts for quite a while...

Its the phlegm coming up right? (Sorry if that gross to hear for some)

Hey bud,

If you saw my last post a few days ago, I have just quit myself last weekend. I know the feeling about the "coughing" and "phlegm". It bites, but it's worth it for us in the long run. I'm using the money that I'm saving from my smokes to put towards a bigger down payment on my 2LT when it's finally built next year with my factory order. What about yourself? Hope you're also feeling better by the min.

i have "tried" quitting several times.it's easy to blame others for your weakness, but i don't know which is worse;those who have never smoked'or the holier than thou who have actually quit, and now think smokers are beneath them.anyway good luck, and don't let the negative nellies run you off the tracks.

I hate that I smoke. I've been doing it since I was around 15 (I'm 26 now). And i just can't stand it. "Why do it?" you ask. For those who don't smoke, they may not understand how hard it is to stop. I'm not even able to keep up with my fiance when running around the block and trying to keep in shape. I really only smoke at work, my job sucks but pays well. It's just a stressful place. So after reading this thread I figured sinec I'm starting my vacation next Wednesday it'd be a good time to quit. I'll be off for 10 days. Asylum, you are awesome for not smoking for that long and you've inspired me!

The best part about quitting hands down is when I look outside, and see snow, wind, and a cold weather warning in effect -20 or more.. I'm not stepping outside into it for that 5 minutes of stupidity.
