TYC brand RS headlights?

So I'm looking at buying a an SS that is not RS. I see that the RS light conversion is pretty straight forward with the plug n play harness, but oem GM headlight housing are stupid money. I see TYC oem replacements on ebay for about $350-400 a side which is much better. Are they as a good as oem? Do I need anything additional besides them and the harness?

Selling it and buying a 5th. I love it, but it's starting to show it's age and I've had an itch for a 5th gen for a while. I'll buy another one someday though.

Looked at a couple of Ebay TYC headlights. They look OEM, what year 5th gen are you looking at?

Yes, you need to keep and replace the turn blinker out of the stock headlights, the TYC blinker are wired backorder and make it not work with the harness.

There is a guy selling an OEM set here for $300... if you wait a little and look around here and in ebay you will find a set for around $3-500.

I've thought about that but I can get this car about $3k less than I can find an RS equipped car due to some other cosmetic blemishes it has; which are no biggie as I have paint and body guys in the family.

I have a 2015 convertible 1LT. I seem to see sites listing the headlights compatible with 2010-2015 all years. And others that say its for 2014-2015. so I'm so confused. do you guys think a 2010-2013 HEADLIGHTS will fit and work in 2014-2015?

Also, do you think you can provide the link for the 300 headlights?

Pre-refresh headlights will not fit in a post-refresh front end.

You cannot tell the TYC from the OEM, and they carry a lifetime warranty. Can't really go wrong with them
