I was looking at a set of Focal P165 v15's earlier today. I've used components but never anything over $200'ish dollars and never anything by Focal/Hertz/MB/Dyn/etc. I also found a Focal Polyglass 27v sub locally and was wondering how nice it is. We'll see, keep everyone posted.

Thanks,

I went actuve ( pita get custom a pillar covers made ) My bud has hertz 2 ways in his truck and they are nice. I wont spend money on focal speakers anymore. Their warranty sucks. Wouldnt warrant a known heat warp issue.

Look this video. this is front 2 way active no sub ( doors sealed and speaker rings installed to seal them to the door panel.

The 2013 and up MyLinks with the BA system are low level outputs.

Since I do not have the 2010-2011 non MyLink BA system, I cannot confirm if this radio had low level outputs to the BA amplifier.

When i measured my 10, it was well over the accepted input voltage on most amps. ( taking max 6v )

This may be the difference that I have been seeing throughout different threads/posts. Maybe the guys that say they can't crack the gains have the non MyLink BA headunits from the 10-13 cars and maybe the MyLink BA headunits from the 14-15 cars are lower voltage.

I plan to find out soon enough. Once I get everything together, I can post back with my findings on voltage from 15 MyLink w Nav BA headunit.

Thanks again guys,
Ghost
