Someone commented you can install a piece of sponge in the nozzle for more foaming effect.

Tried it today, bought a 2 gallon Scotts garden sprayer and poked a hole in the inlet tube 1 inch under where it threads on to the tank.

I used Chemical guys honey dew snow foam, worked great!

Took it to the coin op car wash and used the high pressure pre rinse to knock off the dust, sprayed the foam on, let it sit 5 min and rinsed it off and towel dried it.

Hope this helps for folks who want a portable foam cannon for under $20

Neat trick! Might have to try, have a sprayer never used just setting in the shop. Did you do the sponge in the nozzle as well?

Didn't try that yet, plenty of foam as is, oh forgot to mention, increasing soap to water ratio really helped and I removed the nozzle at the end of the wand as well. The 2 gallon sprayer was only filled to around half with water with around 3 Oz of soap.

Going to try warm water too, it's been said to increase the foam.

Just tried a piece of scotchbrite between the trigger and the extension wand, warmer water, richer mixture, no nozzle, works even better!

Only really need about 1/2 gallon of water... should have bought the 1 gallon sprayer, oh well.

I did the hole in the tube trick was okay. Going to try your Scotchbrite trick and removing the nozzle to see if that helps get some more foam. Need to fill with warm water to I suppose.
