Weight? Opinions on this rim/tire setup.

Just talked to a vendor here about getting some Giovanna Kilis 20x8.5 fronts with 275/40s and 20x10 with 315/35s in the back. Tires are Falken 453s. Does anyone know how much these weigh, and if the tires are relatively good? I was quoted $2450 mounted, balanced, TPMS, and shipped to my door. Have always loved these rims and would give me a nice fat stance in the rear. Thanks in advance.

Matt

what do you need out of the tires? the fk453s arent exactly a sticky tire but wouldnt be bad for daily driving...had them on another car lasted plenty long just not a "ultra high performance" tire like its advertised as. not cheap either

Not really looking for a track type tire, but I WOULD be even happier if it could hold on the track. Also wanted a tire that lasted awhile as well.

Are you talking about the Azenis FK453??? If so....the Falken website doesn't even list those sizes (275/40R20 & 315/35R20) as available in this tire. I'm not saying it doesn't exist, I've seen it before where a manufacturer starts making new sizes and doesn't update their website....but as of right now, there is no information available on those sizes on the Falken website. As for the wheels, if you're concerned about weight, I'd look elsewhere. They may look nice, but they are just as heavy (if not heavier) than stock!!!

Edit....just found them listed under the Truck/Suv category as Azenis FK-453CC. They weigh 34 and 38 pounds respectively. Can't comment on performance....never heard of anyone using them. They're not really especially light weight.

These were tires he said he had in stock to come with the wheels is the reason I'm asking.

I do go to the drag strip every once in a while and if they held 'ok' there then they wouldn't be a problem. Other things like longevity and appearance are my main concerns. And again it would be nice if the fact that they would do well on the strip is a bonus.
