RC cars.....yep, totaled it out when I hit my mailbox post....RC plane... Yep, crashed it into a tree in downtown Orlando....and finished it off when I flew it into the side of a high rise building....
Motto of this story, learn to operate RC cars in a big parking lot and don't fly planes in downtown Orlando. True stories..... |

I actually still have mine!! Would love to run it more than I do! When I got it could never find anywhere open enough to run it, always ended up in parking lots....with parking barriers....so I need to replace a few bent/broken parts lol

Crashing R/C stuff is half the fun lol j/k, I been in the hobby since I was a kid and can't shake the hobby off. I did hibernate for a few years and when I got back in I found out about the lipo batteries and brush-less motors and had to re learn certain things but no biggie. I have 15 cars/trucks and working on one to break 100+mph, is been done before but is just my personal goal.

just for fun... for those in the know, this is a highly modified 1/10 Traxxas Slash 4x4, the motor is a 1/8 castle creation mamba monster. If i were to do this to my Camaro it would be like swapping a Top Fuel funny car engine in it. Still need some work before the speed run, I need to add a lot of weight on the front and lots of testing. Last edited by Sabot; 12-16-2013 at 04:54 PM. |

I can't do Old Town Friday for whoever else was going. :( Got scheduled for what could end up being over a 10 hour shift. FML.

Until next time....I would suggest carrying some plastic and tape in the trunk in case the ghost returns. Sometimes the window motor plays games before going completely out....would be terrible to be caught in the rain with the window stuck in the down position. |
