I even heard a story that it 'might' have been a case where the car was delivered to the vendor and ended up in the back row/corner of the lot while more cars came in and were stored in front of it, but somehow the car in the back in the corner was forgotten.

Wow guys, been awhile since I've dropped in. Really sorry to hear about those who haven't received their cars yet! That's absolutely rediculous.

On another note- congrats to evryone else who's received theirs!

Learned an interesting little tid-bit while at the body shop getting my stripes painted... the tech doing them is the head painter at a large body shop which does both custom and.insurance work (and all the vehicles for the City I work.for...) anyway, he asked me if id already had work.done on my trunk, which the obvious answer was No, cars only 4 weeks old!

He went on to show me (which I could barely notice even when pointed out) a faded "ring" in the clear, which he explained had been a sanded/reshot section of clear coat where damage had been repaired.

Now, if you remember my previous posts, I too had the jumping back and forth between status 's, which, as he explained, was probably the factory reworking a scratch or dent put into my trunk during production!

Not that this explains everyones delays, but it definitely makes sense and explains why mine went back and forth! New stripes are covering that section now anyway...
