Question If you have a V6M with the Hurst shift

I now understand that reverse is located to the left of 1st-2nd gear on the V6's. But Hurst doesn't have a knob that reflects this pattern?? Has anyone emailed or contacted them about this, I would think this would effect a lot of folks. Just curious to see what Hurst is saying about it. I guess you could just buy the T handle & be done with it....Thanks

Is the Hurst made for the LT models? I thought it was only for the SS. you can always do what I did, buy a different knob. Here is the thread about mine: http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=50998

Ssooch, yes, they are for the V6 as well. Review below shows installed on V6 & owner happy with it
I like your version as well (would never tell someone that I liked their "Knob")
but I might go with the T-handle. Saw it for $21.

I've got mine sitting in the trunk waiting for warmer weather to be installed.

There are two ways to go with the V-6

1) You can use the Stock Upper shaft and the original shift knob.

2) Find a different Knob and have that fine looking HURST Shaft Showing.

The latter choice is what I'll be doing. I've waited over 30 years to have another HURST equipt car and darn it I want to show it off!

We currently do not plan to offer a new knob with the V6 pattern. However your options are below:

1. You may retain your factory knob with the included stick adapter.

2. We also have a wide selection of different knobs available. Anything with a 3/8"-16 thread will fit the included chrome stick. LINK-Hurst shift knobs

Hello Chris ,

Is this a plain black knob with no logos?

I have a V6 Manual and I put on the part number 1630410 that sunzero05 is talking about and love it. I got it from rpmoutlet for $34.50, http://www.rpmoutlet.com/hursts.htm. The Hurst website is charging $69.99. It doesn't really matter to have the pattern on the ball anyways, it's stamped on the plastic framing around the shifter.

Hate to get on Hurst's case on this, but can it be too much to ask for one more SKU number to include our shift pattern? I've asked before, and this is the ONLY complaint that I have with the Hurst Shifter for the V6 Cars.
