It's good they've come up with the recall. Perhaps towing is a little excessive, however, I can see that they don't want the car to burn to the ground on your way to the dealer (yes - I'm exaggerating). Either way, at least it's getting taken care of. Maybe, it can be looked at as a good reason to get the oil changed earlier to get the break-in gunk out of the engine

Please keep comments and "THE SKY IS FALLING" comments out of this thread. There are clearly answers in the original post, so there is no need for negative or suggestive comments. GM is taking care of it.

dodge charger, magnum and chrysler 300 also has a battery in the trunk

Hmmm...time to make my first trip to the dealer I guess.

No affect on my Camaro so far and I have about 350 miles on her...easy fix and not too worried about it. Get it taken care of Monday.
