It hasn't gotten out of Congress yet. There was a comprimise deal in The House last week but now it needs to go through the Senate and then back to compromise. So maybe a month or two more.....which is right about when my car will be delivered.

I hope it goes through, nothing is final in stone yet, so i don't see how it being built in Canada has anything to do with it. Im American, if i go to Canada that does not make me Canadian?!?

The current wording of the bill says the cars have to be built in the US in order to get the full amount. Cars built in other areas of North America (Mexico and Canada) can get some discount but have stricter requirements which the Camaro does not meet.

Where are the specifics of this bill listed? What cars are eligible for trade in? What cars are eligible for purchase? Discount amounts? Etc???
