It hasn't gotten out of Congress yet. There was a comprimise deal in The House last week but now it needs to go through the Senate and then back to compromise. So maybe a month or two more.....which is right about when my car will be delivered.

That's the most biased, ignorant government program ever proposed. And that's saying something.

As was pointed out in the other half dozen threads about this, it doesn't effect the Camaro since it's built in Canada.

I hope it goes through, nothing is final in stone yet, so i don't see how it being built in Canada has anything to do with it. Im American, if i go to Canada that does not make me Canadian?!?

The current wording of the bill says the cars have to be built in the US in order to get the full amount. Cars built in other areas of North America (Mexico and Canada) can get some discount but have stricter requirements which the Camaro does not meet.

Not quite the same plus there are income limitations as well:

Oh, and you'll end up in an LS or 1LT model without the RS package: Cannot cost more than $25,000, before tax, title and license
