Overkill and Tracy Lewis Performance have developed a direct port secondary fuel setup for the LFX. This will solve the HPFP issues for all the boosted guys making over 500rwhp and for anyone that wants to run E85 with FI

Some other images of the build.....ZL1 crash bar from leftcoast32, image of the the fuel setup and what it looks like underneath the car after we cut off the rear spare tire well and the beefed up 6L50E.

Parts for the 6L50E, line pressure kit, banner kit with high friction clutches, shift kit for the valve bodies and a modified pan to allow us to drain it without dropping the transmission and we painted the pan inferno orange.

Just ordered front and rear pro street drag brakes from aerospace components. I will have the very first set of rear brakes from aerospace on a 5th generation camaro.

The fronts weigh 32lbs vs 74lbs for the 4piston brembo ss setup; savings of 32lbs up front. Rears are unknown at this moment.

Beautiful car man! Good luck with being the fastest on the east coast! Im in the midwest and have similar goals. I want to leave mine as a daily driver but make the guy pulling up beside me in the charger wish he bought a camaro... 😁😎

I glanced through your number of pages and found no pert'nt info about your hood locks. I, in 1969 had a pair on my new Z/28 that were made by Mr. Gasket (? ). Would you have the manufacture of the ones you have installed on your hood? Thank you. I have a IOM Nickey Camaro with the twins also. It's a thrill to drive.

What's the benefit in cutting out the rear wheel well for you? did you save weight? Or did it give you more space for packaging...?

The other one I saw was Ken Thwaits' Z/28 but they did it to give more space underneath to fit a Pratt & Miller diffuser.

+1 on the quality work either way!

Don’t care if I’m diggin here, but legit build. Absolutely love the passion, time, money and thought that goes into something like this.

Well done, sir!

Ok so it’s been a while since I’ve been in the build threads... I apologize for missing this...

We removed mine initially to create space underneath... I don’t carry a spare... and my battery was moved up and forward... We plated the opening and way way back we mounted the nitrous bottles on it... Underneath it was a frame for a fuel sump that mounted between the frame rails... Now the plate is just a flat area where I stuff the chute after a run before repacking it...

Nitrous bottles are long gone...
