$50 ebay splash guards.....love 'em!

Finally got around to installing these. Sorry for the pix but it was already dark out. I used 3M mounting tape to ensure a nice tight seal and they aren't going any where. Actually got them on last night but the car spent all day at Tint World getting a clear bra installed.

Anyway...this should definitely keep the rocks off the side of the car. Already noticed some chips around my gill area. Sadly prior to the splash guards and clear bra. Bad timing on my part. My advice to any new buyers is to buy the splash guards first then buy the car, followed closely by a clear bra install.

Very nice and at a great price. In your opinion, do they match the back/rear guards, ie color/thickness of material etc.? Do you recommend.

That's a lot cheaper than the ones I ordered 2 weeks ago and still have not received them... Can you do a close up pic?

Good find! Just bought a set.

BTW These look "homemade" by a ZL1 owner. Wonder if they are on Camaro5?

Yes, home made. Better than I could do for sure. I used 3M mounting tape, .045 thick. Stuff is deadly sticky. These aren't going any where. The eBay kit comes with clips that I didn't feel the need to use .......why risk scratching the paint. IMO they look factory and only us car nuts would think about putting our heads up in a wheel well to check these out. I'll get some more pix tonight, gotta get pix of my blacked out tail lights and trim anyway.

As for the fitty bucks.....figure the seller had at least an hour maybe tow into these (buying parts, creating listing, packing, chasing buyers, going to post office, etc), plus $6 shipping, plus $.50 envelope, plus $15 for donor mud flaps, plus eBay listing/Selling fees, plus PayPal fees.......maybe he cleared $20 to $25 bucks? I gots better ways to spend my time than trying to knock this guy off.

Someone needed to make a rock guard that was not insanely expensive. Modded plastic flaps that were most likely bought at retail plus a few .02 cent clips and he still can sell with free shipping for $50. If this guy can sell them for that a mass manufacture should easily do the same.

LOL Bet the guy is cleaning house. Once the 1LE guys see this I would guess they will sell out fast. When the first ones were shown this was the price I expected and was willing to pay. When I saw these I snapped them up.

Not sure what everyone is referring to being $50.00 I guess if you are only buying 2 of them, a full set of 4 is $100.00.

From the listing:
This listing is for one set of shields: consisting of 2 shields, 2 large clips 2 small clips.
