I'm not nocking the stealth controller at all. It sounds cool if it works how it's supposed to, which it sounds like it does. I'm just saying my vtc works great for what I need it for

Why is that a disadvantage if I may ask?

Ive been using nothing but the Auto IQ mode for awhile now and never had an issue, its not jumpy when switching or anything like that its very smooth transitions between settings.

Well you.could always get a splitter for the OBD2 port. Revhigh (Stealth controller) actually sells one on their site. The Stealth only uses the.OBD2 port for power anyway.

A splitter is certainly a possibility. Just that splitters seem to be hit or miss depending on the usage characteristics of the devices plugged into them. Surprising the Stleath controller uses the port just for power compared to the VTC which gets its power from the pedal harness.

You wouldn't run power for your gauges off the pedal, so why run this. I run a OBD2 double harness and have had 0 issues. Much more reliable. Besides, the Stealth has the massive advantage of being re-programmable to other cars. So its a life time investment.

Good to hear. Whose double harness do you have and what do you have attached to it?

I was one of the early VTC users. I've had it now 2 ys with no problems. I try to follow all VTC threads so I'm very familiar with all the reported issues. They seem to be caused by 1) improper install calibration or 2) changing SP settings while driving. Also more automatics than manuals seem to have problems. IMO the pedal sensor seems to like a stable setting. I keep it on SP5 ...like Goldylocks said "just right". SP6 or above with my 3:91 rear and PTB is like holy sheets

On the double OBD2 harness I run a blue tooth dongle and sometimes my code scanner, Ive also used it for a few other things like my OBD2 gauges/
