2014 Camaro Rear Bumper Conversion
Here is a list of the part numbers need to install the new 2014 rear bumper on prior year camaro's. The prices listed are GM list prices. I don't have a hardware list yet, so that will be a rough quote for now, until we actually do a conversion and now what is all needed... Also GM for some very strange reason has put core charges on the rear bumper and diffuser. Unfortunately turning in your old bumper and diffuser wont give you the core charge money back, since it is not the exact part.
List: Upper Bracket:22833655 $17.37 Fascia w/park assist sensor holes:23164145 $495 + $75 core Fascia w/o park assist sensor holes:23164146 $498 + $75 core Absorber:22829531 $122.53 Brackets: L&R 22829479,22829480 $13.82 each Diffuser w/single tip:22829476 $126.07 + $75 core Diffuser w/dual tip(1LE style):22829477 $139.60 + $75 core Outer brackets L&R:22915167,22915168 $14.57 each Outer brackets L&R:23186324,23186325 $34.60 each Lower brackets:23104631 x 2 $8.65 each Mounting screws,retainers and rivets:$100 Also new taillights will be required for the install. With parts listed and $100 for bolts and such, cheapest pricing I can get so far is $975 WITHOUT any taillamps, trunklid (and trunklid bits) and spoiler.
Going to be an expensive proposition for anyone wanting to update.

Very true it might hit about $1,500 but I hope at least a package deal comes out. Also I hope they release the z28 prototype wing along with the z28 diffuser. I wonder if anybody is currently producing any after market taillights for 2014 Camaros like spyder did for the 10-13 Camaro, would be nice to see what they come up with. My question is will the new sensors, trunk light, plate light, taillights and backup camera be compatible with the 10-13 wiring harness or will it require a new wire harness.

Thanks for posting, I was having a hard time finding part numbers for any 2014 stuff. Just ordered a new diffuser yesterday so I can get it painted body color, it was 97 dollars and some change. Don't suppose anyone has a diagram of the rear showing how it comes apart so I don't damage anything?

I think people are going to find it's going to be a lot more involved with many more parts than they think to do a conversion. And the cost will be a lot higher than anyone anticipates.
IMO best thing to do if you want a 2014 look is trade for a 2014..

On a side note, got a new 2010 bumper last week for the 69 tail light look, and it had no back up sensors, but did come with the new back up camera hole, LOL after this is done will do the 2014 rear and front on a 2010 car.

Well, if anyone can come up with a package deal, Ofer would be one to put money down on!

mod as you go
I still love my 2013, I'm trying to focus on the parts I deem necessary to change and create something new. For me to trade my car in to get a 14 would cost me an extra $7,000, besides if I had the 14, I would have to change the front end, I do not like the refresh look compared to the zl1.

Nutro will be doing this from the sounds of it. He already did the front end which looks amazing in SGM.
