Empire Before All
alright, i know this is a shameless plug, but my little bro is on his way to actually achieving his dreams of a musical career. a few months back, him & some friends realized they all had musical talent with an interest in the same styles, so naturally, they started a band. thing is, they quickly found a couple connections that hooked them up with a producer & a promoter, and after some reviews, they ended up getting a tour booked for this summer. in preparation for that, they just released their first single the other day. i understand most people don't regularly listen to this type of music, but give it a once-through - if you like it, great... tell all your friends! if not, that's fine too... just appreciate the musicianship & determination of these kids (i say kids, but they're like early 20s now). enough yappin... on with the tunes!! https://www.facebook.com/EmpireBeforeAll

more metal than anything, and like i said - it ain't for everybody. i used to couldn't take it neither & still don't like the extremely heavy stuff that's more of a trash compactor of notes than an actual chord progression, but being a musician myself, i definitely can appreciate the technical proficiency it takes to play like this.

It's interesting. Though, I fear the people that like the female vocals won't be fond of the deathmetal and the people that like the deathmetal won't be fond of the female vocals (a la tones2ss above)
The music background by itself is pretty impressive by itself though. Sounds a lot like the heavy drums and guitars of Slipknot or even a little like Five Finger Death Punch or Avenged Sevenfold. Anywho, best of luck to them! I know it takes a ton of effort to get started in the business. It sounds like they've gotten off to a great start!

yeah, i know A7X is one of their influences (at least for my brother)
and the vocals are kinda love/hate types of tones - i'll agree with that

They're definitely onto something. I hope they have a lot of success. Very few people get the opportunity that they have right now.

Yeah, a friend of mine from high school is in a band trying to get into the country side of the business, and it's pretty evenly competitive across the board.
I imagine having a producer and promoter helps immensely, though. Keep us updated
