Some of us are concerned with privacy issues inherent to FB and will never make an account there. I don't really see why pulling camaro5 members to FB needs to be in this section and bumped. If you contribute monetarily to camaro5 I stand corrected.

I understand what you are saying and that is fine by me. I just keep it up so new members can find it and enjoy it. Most people who join really enjoy the site and it is easier to communicate. I send probably 5 to 10 people a day to Camaro5 and Camaro6 that want to know more about the ZL1 or Camaro. Pulling members is an odd way of putting it since I probably send more people here than anyone. On contributing, if you look at the Pacific Northwest page on both 5 and 6 gen site,
you will see that I am one of the most active on trying to keep people coming back to the page. Hope that makes since. Thanks and have a bitchin Friday!! Orion.
Oh by the way.
I don't post a lot on the ZL1 portion of this page since most of what I have too say is already said. A lot smart guys that know what they are talking about are on here. I usually just read the posts and learn.

This. I have had a FB account for ten years and rarely use it because of the rampant mining and sharing.

Yeah, I don't blame you bud but if you have cell phone, computer, or a new smart tv, they are mining you anyways. Look, I am not a Facebook spokesperson. lol This is a cool site that is on Facebook. If you are on Facebook, check it out. I love this site as well but you don't seem to connect with these ZL1 owners on this page like you can on the Facebook pages. Next weekend we are going on a run to the coast and I will have over 6 ZL1s hanging out at my house before and after the run. It is just another way for owners to connect and really enjoy what a great car this is. A buddy is bringing his wicked Zl1 1LE over as well. Sweet beast!!
Believe me, I understand the not wanting to be on Facebook.
Have a great Friday and a Bitchin weekend.

Well, the difference is, you can turn it off or control it in most cases. Not so with FB. They say they are changing that...I don't trust them after years of doing it without disclosure.

If there was full disclosure on the onset, that's a different matter.

I've been receiving enough junk mail, spam, unwanted ads and junk phone calls for 15 years to last me ten lifetimes. Junk mail you can toss. Spam you can alert. Junk phone calls you can go on the list, and report to the FCC. Unwanted ads and the dispersal of info...what to do? I want to minimize that "stuff" for the remainder of my life.
