Belts and Tensioner Options

What are the tensioner options that we have these days for supercharged Camaro’s? My Kenne Bell has a pretty good wrap and has never slipped with the stock tensioner. But now I’m looking at spinning it a bit faster and turning the boost up. I think the JRE super tensioner is a good one. Has anything else come out?

Also, what belts are known as the toughest for our applications? My Kenne Bell kit came with a Bando 6 rib that has held up pretty well. But now that I’m going to smaller pulleys, I need something in the 2630 - 2650 mm range. Been searching and can’t seem to find one in that space. Any ideas?

I've always had good luck with gates, but you gotta pick the right size.

Your problem is not the belt manufacturer. You got some good advice in your thread but.... They hold up just fine when you have the correct size, tension, and alignment.

Yeah..... correct size from ECS, right tension, everything aligned, and still the same result.
