I looked at all the centerline centers that were on eBay and none matched what I had, the closest ones were either the wrong size or required two mounting bolts, mine only take one.

Had a '94 4x4 ext. cab with the Vortech 6, and an '01 4x4 Blazer, same Vortech 6. Both great vehicles.
What sold me on the first one was in comparison to all of the other trucks in the category, when I closed the door on the S-10, the door produced a solid, tight, "Whump." All other trucks went "Clank! (rattle/ jiggle/ shake)" The S-10 was built like a miniaturized full- sized truck, while the OTHER trucks all felt like go carts with no difference among models other than slight differences to the shape of the tin shell dropped over them. Loved those S-10s. Really good vehicles. |

Good for you...but your truck would be even less useful for me than my Ranger considering your truck has a smaller cab. Regular cab is not what I'm wanting or what I was wanting at the time.

I've owned 13 new cars, 10 of them GM and 3 Fords. My 97 S-10 was by far the worst vehicle I have ever owned. Nothing but problems. I traded it for a new 2000 Ford Ranger, which I gave to my son 7 years ago. 150,000 miles and less than 2k of repairs and it's still running like a champ.

Thanks, I have been working some of the little bugs out of it.
Here is a pic I took a couple days ago. I found a tailgate at a salvage yard that had no dents in it. I actually think someone was using this for parts for another truck after finding parts missing on it like the tailgate. It was also missing the Vacuum accumulator and both horns were gone, along with the washer bottle.. I replaced the horns and washer bottle with ones I found on EBay. The Vacuum accumulator, I made from a piece of 2" PVC pipe and two end caps.
