Base fuel pressure 43.5 psi vs 58 psi

Boost reference return fuel system guys: what do you set your base fuel pressure to? I've been reading mixed things on whether to run at 43.5 vs 58psi. I'm running twin 450 in pumps with id1300x injectors aeromotive boost reference regulator -10feed -8 return lines. I've heard that running 43.5psi will not provide enough pressure for the suction from the passenger saddle to pull fuel to the drivers saddle. Anybody have any feedback on if this is true or not? Thanks in advance for any help.

I ran 58lbs base pressure with my twin turbo 1le on a twin pump fore system and once 1psi was reached second pump turned on to achieve 65psi. That was on FIC 1000cc injectors on E85.

I used to run 58psi but have since dropped to 43.5psi to generate less heat. I have triple Fore Hellcat pumps and had not experienced what you said (not enough suction, which makes no sense).

I've heard that 43.5 psi doesn't allow the fuel to atomize as well as higher pressure but I never noticed an issue.

I started at 43.5 but on E85 my Injector DC was too high at redline. Changing to 58psi would put my 1200cc injectors to over the 127 lb/hr hard limit in the ECM and I didn't want to scale the tune.
I put it at 50psi and now I'm 78% Inj.DC at redline on the E85 and still able to have a stable idle.

My issue was my injectors were slightly too big and running higher pressure made my idle a little wonky because it hit an area the injector couldn't control. Lowering my pressure allowed the injector to get into that area so the idle would stabilize.

Dreksnot has a good point on the heat and besides, why make the pump work harder if it doesn't have to.

The heat generated by the higher fuel pressure was my biggest concern as well.
