6l80 Transmission issue

Need transmission advice 2011 SS auto:

I hit it at about 60 and the car didn’t move, it banged off the rev limiter for a bit and eventually shifted. Did it again same thing. Seems to be consistent around 2nd or 3rd gear and eventually it’ll shift. Is the problem in the transmission or the converter?

Transmission is done. Clutches slipping. Drain trans oil to verify fluid is dirty and smells burnt.

make sure you have the additional 1 quart of fluid above full. I think it resolved my issue with shift flare, although your symptoms are worse than mine.
