I got my lifter replaced on my 2010 L99 at 4,000 miles. They have new redesigned AFM lifters. No more ticking for me.

Last word from the service manager was that they couldn't reproduce it. But they are gonna keep trying. I knew that would happen. 1 out of 10 cold starts it doesn't happen. Figures.
