Personally I've never owned a vert and I barely take the t-tops off my cars now (unless I won't be stopping much and the weather is basically perfect). That being said I can add this to the VERY short list of verts that I would own. Top up or down this looks amazing and once there are roll bars available for it I believe it will just add to the overall awesome aesthetics of the car. Job well done GM.

I'm not a convertible guy, but they did a pretty good job here. It looks less "plastic" than most convertibles do.

I just want to know what is with GM's obsession with putting sedan wheels on the new Camaro. I think I've hated every single wheel thus far. They did such a great job with the ZL1 and Z28 wheels. They're falling on their collective faces with the 6th gen. These wheels are horrrribleeeeeee. The Mustang's are so much nicer by comparison, and it's a shame because the Mustang as a convertible looks a lot "cheaper."

Do you think the Stingray has Sedan wheels too? The Camaro's wheels are very similar.

I wouldn't expect to see a factory roll bar installed simply because of the liability and safety issue on a street driven car. The chances of head trauma injuries are greatly increased in a collision with a roll bar on a street car.

Oh, one more thing, I want a white top, like my 4th Gen (which is vinyl)! Fabric white would get dirty too easily I assume...

I had a white top on a convertible before, it always looked dirty.

If the Camaro has the same kind of "wall", will it HAVE to be up for the top to go down? Because the Gen 5 has that "cover" that has to be pulled out & secured otherwise the top won't go down.
I came here to ask the same question, do you have to pull the screen in the trunk to put the top down like my 2011???

While I'm here, does the auto get the LT1 like the manual? Or is there another L99 situation?

I would think it would have something similar to the Stingray since the Camaro mimics the operation of it fairly closely. It's probably something you can leave in place until you need extra trunk space then you can fold it down or stow it. I am sure there will also be an interlock like we have now to keep the top from going down if it isn't in place.

There have been no mention by Chevy of separate engines for the auto and manual versions. I think they all get AFM and VVT.

Manual does not get AFM, automatic does... they're both LT1

The more I see the 6th Gen in both hardtop and convertible form, the more I appreciate the 5th Gen styling. Don't get me wrong, this looks to be a awesome offering, but it just does not say "Camaro" to me.

Oh ok I thought I read somewhere that even the manual had it, maybe that was on the Stingray though... Memory fade....
