Still can't decide exhaust:(
Have a 3in exhaust with X-pipe (DynoMax bullet cat-back exhaust) was thinking of changing to stock 2.5 pipe add x-pipe and muffler delete. Better or not? Hp gain or lose? Louder or not? Enough back pressure? Help! Thank you

No reason to switch back imo. You might gain a little power down low by switching back (depending on your current tune), but not enough worth the change. If you plan on doing your cam or FI down the road, you're better off with the 3"exhaust. 3" should be louder as well and back pressure is not an issue with these cars, it's all in the tune.

Just curious why you would even consider going from a 3 inch catback with crossover to a modified stock system.

You could dyno them back to back all day and you won't find much of a difference. Keep what you got now unless you are looking for a different sound. |
