I had a great first time at NCM. Everything went without a hitch, so it made it that much more enjoyable Thanks to HOD and the instructors that made it a successful adventure for me. Hope to do it again soon.

I had a TOTAL Blast!!! I definitely loved the follow the leader type of format. Unfortunately, Becky wasn't one of my teachers... But I will seek her out next year for sure!!! I can't wait to do it again next year! I loved going into the sinkhole!

I really wanted to do this but couldn't make it early enough.
Just curious, I get it's follow the leader but how fast does the beginner group run?

...once you learn the track, as fast as you want.

You go as fast as your group can stay together. If there are a few really struggling to catch on, they will group those together. After lunch, it has always been grouping with the fastest together, so you are NOT in the same group all day long. They really look out after each of "us" on the track and help us when needed. This is what makes it truly fun, as you don't feel pressured, but at the same time you are pushing yourself and your car to 'your' limits as a driver.

This year was soooo much better for me than 2017. Last year I had a tire blowout on the way to CFest and had miss-matched compound and was not able to do anything but watch. This year I participated in all three events. I was definitely nervous at NCM and was worried about messing my car up, but it still was quite an adrenaline rush.

Late in the day, I had an opportunity to ride along with an instructor - Luis from Venezuela. OMG, it was more fun that driving. Luis was driving a 6Gen SS, essentially had the same car as mine and his lap time was 2:25. According the PDR app on my iPhone, my best lap time in one session was 3:08.
