Okay, I gotta know what people didn't like(or really liked) about the movie.

The only thing that comes to mind for me were the product placement bots...Mountain DewBot, XBoxBot, and EscaladeBot...I guess you could count NokiaBot, but his tiny Gatling gun was hilarious...

Actually, those little guys didn't bother me at all. I thought they were funny as hell....little gatling guns... That was cool in the little glass booth. I do wonder though, those guys weren't taken care of. The only Decepticon left was Starscream, right?..the one who turns into a jet?

Ok...the only part I didn't like was when Jazz was torn in two. Yeah...some of the good guys gotta go when there is a war. But, like everyone else, I would have liked to have had him repaired or something.

Other than that, I loved everything. I loved the fact that BB communicated w/ his stereo...and it was perfect what he did w/ the girl in the Camaro. My wife was laughing her butt off as was I and the entire rest of the theater. Really, I could talk about this for hours. I loved this movie...very, very, well done.

I just got back from the movie. I was expecting it to be awesome movie and i couldn't wait to see it. But I wasn't expecyting it to be the BEST MOVIE I'VE SEEN IN A LONG TIME, NO EVER .

I'm not putting any spoilers in this post but if you dont want to know anything bout this this movie dont read anymore. Although I will say you see the camaro alot

So ppl what did you all think. good , bad , any letdowns cuz i didnt have any except i wont see that car on the streets for 2 years.

Sorry if anyone has a problem with this thread, but I think I gave enough warning, and I wanted to get some opinions from my camaro brothers and sisters

Ya Tag, I thought the soda machine bot, and the nokia bot ect. were funny to. What did happen to the 360bot and soda machinebot and the Escalade . Bumblebee hookin the two up was funny. The movie had me laughin a lot, and if I wasnt laughin i was on the edge of my seat.

I liked how BB kicked them out of the car when she made the comment about how it was a ragedy old camaro . I liked how you saw BB alot more then the others (kinda based around him), and how even when half of him was missing he still kicked ass. And who didnt see him kicking the Stangs ass comin. Come on the mustang couldnt even catch up to him when they were drivin, then when they turned into robots, he handled him in a minute.

Alright i gotta get off this post cause I would also talk bout it for hours and hours.

the plot was ruined when the script was written...lol not much to it. and for now Tag, starscream is the last decepticon. they left it open like that to allow for sequels (they are on the way) possibility of Megs returning as Galvatron???

Letdowns:

Bumblebee's voice was a big letdown. Also, Starscream looked and acted like a badass. Not the bozo'ish attitude he has with snide/sarcastic personality like G1. Also Megatron was too smart for his G1 personality also.

Devastator(Brawl) should have been the constructicons, but apparantly they're supposed to have constructicons and dinobot cameos in the second movie if not a full fledged part.

Optimus Prime and the rest of the autobots were fricken stupid compared to G1 personalities.

Jazz dies. "What's up bitch?"

Bumblebee talks at the end but not when he first was charged by the allspark? WTF?

Good Things:

Both Starscream and Megatron sounded BAD ASS with their new deeper voices.

The Camaro was amazing.
The girl was hot also.
Great storyline, Tons of comedy which was a great bonus.
BIG BOOMS! (Michael Bay at his finest)
You finally learn that Sector 7 is SUPPOSED to be the good guys, but they're just morons.
Simmons gets pissed on by Bumblebee.

I might add more later, but those are just off the top. I'm watching it again tomorrow.

Best 2 hour commercial of GM cars I have ever seen.

Good action and CGI though.

I meant they were funny, especially the nokia bot...but I mean, they should have taken care of them, instead of showing it was just an excuse to do a bit of product placement...

As for the voices, they sounded awesome...

Optimus: Peter Cullen returned to do Optimus(he was the original voice)
Megatron: Hugo Weaving...I mean, that guy is awesome in his own right.
Jazz: Anyone remember eddie from family matters? yeah, it was him

I didn't like the amount of advertising, it was painfully obvious to the point where it was almost hard to enjoy the movie...almost. Good movie over al though.

what did you expect for BB's voice? a teenager?

Starscream is a wimp. when did he actually fight with an autobot? yeah, he shot a few rockets, but all he really did was shoot down the planes

Devastator should have been Brawl so that we could have the constructicons in TF2

How were they stupid? i wasn't keen on some of the dialog, made prime sound whiny at times, and Ironhide like too much of a reckless redneck, while Jazz's dialog during their first transformation was retarded.

and Jazz is a wimp. nuff said.


bumblebee can talk now... its better than little electronic noises, tho him using the radio to communicate was funny

The best example of the autobots being "stupid" is the scene outside sam's house. When they're looking for the glasses. In the old cartoons, they never would have treaded on the lawn, they'd stay out in the streets in their vehicle forms. The way it was set up was that the autobots were so silent while moving their massive gears and cogs that the dad couldn't hear them when the power went out? Come on now...

Good for bay, bad for me. Now people might think that lame ass Pontiac roadster is actually good lol. I hate that crappy car. The Camaro had huge rims in the movie, better be on the street version. The entire movie was crazy jam packed with action.
