They pimped my ride. Why did they leave out the 4 banger? Why can't the 4 have a 1LE option?

I was reading this on the 6th gen site.

Soooo many little bitches crying about its only manual, its only 1SS ect, cant please everyone, but some of there complaints are funny.

I think its really cool. If I had to put money down, I would have bet that the 6th gen would not have a 1LE.

With that said, I really want to see a price, even thought the standard SS is out of my reach.

2017 1LE

I think it looks pretty cool. I may be a little biased, but our 1LE upgrades and looks had a way bigger impact to our generation vs the 6th.

Yes, I made a thread here about the upcoming Chicago announcement.

Looks like it will be 2017.

And an option in the v6 ??!!!

I'm with Splat - would have put money on it not happening before a ZL1 or Z28. Pretty cool really, and a 'better marketed' ( plus more costly) package will only help pique interest in, and ultimately preserve value of the Gen 5 1LE. This will give me a year or two (or more) to save up and pay cash - that is if it's something that that I am drawn to. One thing to think about is that the '17 will have a 50th Anniversary model. This will be interesting to watch, while enjoying, tweaking, and putting miles on the '15. Who's making the popcorn?

This is awesome but at the same time disappointing because I can't buy it, and because I wanted our 5th gen 1LEs to be more exclusive and unique. I still think my next car will be a Corvette a few years from now but time will tell.

3 seconds faster at Willow Springs than the standard SS is nothing to sneeze at. Holy shit.

I absolutely love the way it looks and everything that comes with it. I had my mind set on a 2013-2014 GT500 but with the 1le I have to re think my decision. This is one hell of a car for sure...

I'm sure this thing will be faster, more comfortable, and overall better than my '14 1LE, but I love my car. It's no slouch, so I'll be happy to keep it in my garage.
