Is this Zl1 Spoiler ok? Need guidance...

I was looking for oem but I can't find one, I just keep seeing High quality Abs plastic everywhere I look so I decided to find a cheap one that would still say the same and found this...(comes with the brake light and cables). Do you guys think I will be ok with this one for my Camaro or should I find an Oem one. If you guys know where I should get mine from that would be better quality please point me in the right direction.

That's what I put on my 2011 , Looks great . I never did hook up the break light . just tucked the wire inside . To wire it in with a new harness was a pain. But Our 3rd break light is still visible over top of it .

Looks great, one question

I have the same spoiler and never installed it because I was told that I would have extra holes in trunk lid on my 2013 2SS 1LE. What did you do about the holes, and where are they?

I am overly cautious when it comes to body mods. If you're willing to burn the $90 or do a bunch of work if the fitment isn't great, then it might be worth the gamble. I wanted CF and went with Anderson Composites/Seibon. It fit like factory. Maybe better than factory.

Body work is expensive. Even to prep and mod an ill fitting spoiler can cost hundreds. I'd be concerned that it's ABS. If it has to be re-worked at all, that won't be cheap. Bio-Hazard seems to have made the trade off. Fitment vs function. If you want that 3rd brake light, you are looking at drilling into the trunk. Some folks have used grommets to cover the old existing holes.

I'd consider looking at the function you want and the real total cost. There might be others out there that are a bit more up front cost, but, will cost you less to install.

Best of luck.
