2013 Driver Seat Upholstery Issue

Hello There

I have a permanent stain appearing issue with my driver's seat(part you sit on). I had it cleaned and it didn't come out. Further inspection, it appears it is burned/melted.

Is it even possible to have it re-upholstered? Or am I better off buying a new seat? If so, what is the going rate and do you have suggestions on where I can find one?

Thanks,
Ed

You can just buy a new seat cover from GM, #23161545. Multiple sites online or from you local Chevy dealer. If you can't install it find a good upholstery shop near you to do it.

This is good to know. The lower bolster is starting to look worn on mine from getting in and out of the car

I just ordered a drivers side seat bottom cover for my ZL1. My seat has two tiny holes in the suede that were repaired by the original owner... Started bothering me, even though they aren't that noticeable. The correct part# per my vin# is 23161532 just an FYI for those ordering for their ZL1.

These are per my VIN supplied request to gmpartsdirect. I got this back as far as front seat covers. NOTE: My car is a convertible. I do not know if the seats are different, but apparently the driver seat bottom is the same, so.....but you should verify to be sure.

I know I responded to this (not sure where my post went)....

The suede holds up great, as long as you maintain it. I use my Adam's cockpit brush on my seats, and steering wheel about once a week to prevent matting.

The steering wheel, and shift knob (with suede package), see extra wear from the abrasive contact with your skin on a daily basis. Keep that in mind.
