M6 transmission polyurethane mount now available at Phastek!
All of you M6 guys looking for a poly mount for your transmission Phastek now has one. I have had this on my car for about two months and it has held up very well. After installing a 4 inch drive shaft it would rub pretty bad. It ended up being the stock transmission mount. My stock mount was so bad I could compress the bushings by hand. Night and day difference between stock mount and this mount.

I have the RevShift blue poly insert and get more noise and vibration. How much more do you feel you get with this RST?

I don’t get much noise at all with this. Before my shifter would bounce back and forth when hitting hard bumps and now it doesn’t move at all.

I just installed the mount myself. I did pick-up quite a bit more resonance vibration at WOT into the cabin. Its like you can feel the cylinders firing through the floor. It is a TON stiffer than the stock mount. With the stocker, I could easily compress and move it around with just my hand. So part 1: noise = annoying to me Now part 2 performance: Car feels amazing. Car is more responsive and high RPM shifts feel smoother. Downshifting the car feels more locked in with out any oscillation and slow takeoffs from a stop are much smoother. Part 2: performance = Nice upgrade I am still on the fence about leaving it on, but I give it a few months and see if it loosens up at all before making a decision. Just my 2c. Dave

crazydave - that review is pretty much what I expected to hear. NVH comes with higher performance. It's the threshold that keeps us from going nuts. I still have my stock exhaust on...

I agree with the Rev Shift review loved it at first an then couldn't deal with the drone it caused. I'd be willing to try this if I knew it wasn't noisy.

Its really not bad at all cruising on the highway. But if you get on it you really feel it and hear it. It reminded me of the time that I had a header hitting the sub-frame on my FBody when i give it any significant gas. BUT IT SHIFTS SO SMOOTH NOW... Its easy enough to change out so i may sway it in and out when i go to the track.
