Come on up. I think it's about a 5-6 hour drive. We've got some pretty roads up here. I can probably hook you up with a nice Mercedes SLK, and a Mustang GT 350... if you want to do some sort of comparison video.

I couldnt fit in an SLK on my best day. Beautiful car, but not something I could drive. It'd be nice to check out the 350, but I dont even think they've went into production and are on sale. I know the 350r isnt because they're already all spoken for. Even though they arent even producing them yet. Would love to pit the 350r againt the Z/28. That would be friggin SWEET.

Yea, you can get the rims for real cheap and I think they look awesome. Also don't care about all the hate with the perreli p zeros, I think they are great tires. I know they're not so great in rain but for regular dry conditions they are awesome.

All tires, from bias ply to radials for all types of vehicles, are regulated under five safety standards: FMVSS 109, 110, 119, 120 & 139. •Quick overview of each regulation • Download the regulations Wheels: There are two NHTSA safety standards that reference wheels (rims), FMVSS No. 110 (tire selection/rims for passenger cars weighing less than 10,000 pounds) and FMVSS No. 120 (tire selection/rims for vehicles weighing more than 10,000 pounds). The rules are focused on making sure the vehicle has the proper size tire/wheel combination. They do not establish performance requirements, although FMVSS No. 120 includes marking requirements. Most wheel performance/marking requirements have been accomplished through industry standards established by SAE (Society of Automotive Engineers) and other international organizations. SEMA worked with SAE to develop SAE J2530, “Aftermarket Wheels - Passenger Cars and Light Truck - Performance Requirements and Test Procedures” [Published: May 2008]. NOTE: SAE J2530 establishes performance and marking requirements. •View complete SAE Standards for tires/wheels TPMS guide on how the tire pressure monitoring system rule impacts the aftermarket Basic facts about tires: tire pressure, maintenance, labeling, ratings, etc.) Basic tire safety information |

Totally agree with ya. They are the best wheels for any version Camaro. It seems the replica wheels are just as expensive as the authentic rims that only Z/28 owners can get. But they would look good on any color Camaro. |

I think most of the factory designs are hard to beat, whether it is the SS, ILE/ZL1 or Z28 wheel. You can get the factory replicas for a reasonable price. Look at the FR41's, the MRR228's or powder coat your factory SS wheels. You won't get the width or offsets with the factory SS wheels. I like Specs' Niche Milans also, and they can be had for a decent price.

Dipped mine today. 5 coats matte black, 3 of metallic graphite. Made a really dark gunmetal.
