I will be able to go up at any time. In fact, if anyone wants a ride rather than taking the Camaro's let me know. How about this Saturday in Golden? Anyone else going to show the Camaro's. I was told to get parking we need to be there around 2 Then show starts at 5 and should be there thru the fireworks. I have a little bbq, cooler and chairs planned for the event. Nothing like a nice steak....some cold dr peppers and peeping at the ooglers as they stroll by.

Thanks all!! Just got home with it (in the rain :( ) and it rocks!! Already made plans for the weekend, so can't make the Golden event, but definitely keep me in the loop for future events. I had kind of given up on it being here before the weekend, but was pleasantly surprised with the call this morning!!

Wow,,,,,better get out there and get it dried off. How was the drive home? Did you get the rock star treatment already? Sure seems like the IOM is sure popular out here in our region. Must be all that great sun..Congrats!

WyCamaro is thinking he may be able to stick around for it. Hey I got to thinking about the route. If we are the only ones going how about around 225 and up to 25 and up 6th for a route. 470 works but I am not in a hurry and would rather take the more scenic route....If we take 470...I know how you drive and know how I drive....we will be in Golden in about 25 minutes and there would maybe be more speed traps running the outer loop. Just a thought. What do you want to grill? steaks? Shrimp? burgers? We might as well enjoy the heck out of it. Maybe if we do the 225 loop we could just meet at king soopers and load up with ice, snacks, drinks, etc. The one thing I dont have is a quick and easy cover to sit under. you know the potable patio things you see at tailgate parties etc. That would be a great thing to give us some shade while enjoying the crowd. Do you have your son over the holiday? I will have my boy with me again. He is my co pilot.

Finished with the upgrades! (for now)
Got everything done! Took the car to Rocky Mountain Competitive Research, Colorado Springs, CO on thursday at 9 am. They did 5 dyno runs, gaining hp on every adjustment. Only took them an hour and a quarter. They really know their stuff They corrected my base run to 338 hp, 345 lbft. before the CAI and ARH installs. The run after installing the CAI and exhaust, but before the tuning ran 378 hp, 387 lbft. A gain of 40 hp and 42 lbft. The final pull after tuning ended up with 402 hp and 405 lbft. Gaining another 24 hp and 18 lbft. just by tuning. Pretty impressive. Altogether I gained 64 hp and 60 lbft with CAI, ARH headers, 3" exhaust, Magnaflow dual in/out muffler, and tune. It was unbelievable that these guys at RMCR could do in just over an hour, what another shop in Denver (I won't mention any names) couldn't figure out in 2 weeks of studying and 6 hrs actually hooked up to my car.
Just a side note. While they were into my ECM they also deleted the 1st to 4th skip shift, they deleted the 155 mph limiter, and lowered the temperature that the cooling fans kick on. They also will set it back to stock settings should I ever need to do warranty work on the ECM, and also redo the new settings if the dealer ever needs to re-flash the ECM, free of charge. I also learned on the dyno, that the car will do 150 mph at redline in 4th gear Look out speed records on the GPS! Video coming soon of the dyno run, so you can hear the sounds FYI before I got the tune done my check engine light did come on after 100 miles or so for a lean condition and the timing was retarded because of running lean.
