FRONT TURN SIGNALS
I have already done a search on this, but could not find anything.
i have the 2010 2LT/RS. i already have the harness installed that keeps the lower drive lights on all the time. i have blacked out all the exterior lights. even the head lights using the black static clean matrix material. i also have lighted rear bow tie that stays on when the lights are on then acts like brake light also. i have covered the light sensor on the dash so the lights are on all the time the car i running. the only ones that do not stay on all the time are the front turn signals. they only work when have turn signal on. Is their a harness of some kind or a way to wire them to keep the front turn signals on all the time with the other lights, but still act like turn signal when you need to turn?. Any help out there?

You could just splice the wires. Why do you want the turn signal lights on all the time? Also, why would you black out your headlights?

just my preference to have them on with all with the other lights. the black dot matrex material has small holes in it so the light shines thru really good for the head lights. that material still lets them shine thru. i have passed a lot of cops here that have looked right at them and did not pull me over. besides i am a old guy. do not do a lot of night driving any more. plus i have two other chevys i can drive at night. I had thought about that. running a wire from the hot side of the side marker light to the hot side of the turn signal. but not sure iff that would causee any feed back fhru the wiring system and short it all out.

You'd have to put a diode in. Otherwise your headlight would blink with the turn signal

I did what you are wanting to do. I used a t-tap from my side marker to power the blinker/now running light. If you pull the plug off the blinker you will see a empty spot in the middle. Run the power wire to that spot and there ya go. I am running switchbacks on mine so they are bright white for running light then amber when blinking.

I am wanting to do the same thing as you bajamoon. But my plug is sealed in the middle. I bought the pins per Ofer, but did you have to pierce the plastic on yours?

Mine were sealed. Small drill bit takes care of that lol. I want to buy the blinker plug from a ls so it's correct. I just used black high strength silicone to hold the power wire in. Ghetto yea but no problem in the months since I've done it.

What's up old fart lol, somebody just did a write up in the cosmetic section. Vroompunk I believe. When I jump on a computer I'll see what I can find, I don't have the blinkers powered anymore but all I did was tap into the power from the sidemarkers and push the wire into the middle pin on the blinker plug as rs cars don't have that powered. Use v-led switchbacks and resistors and you are good.
I'll check in a bit but pm me so I don't forget because i'm not that young either lol
