I would definatley get HUD if it came out for the 2010 Camaro but I definatley am not going to wait for it a year later.

GM knows we want it. They just aren't releasing it yet. I'm sure they have plenty of reason for it. Those who care about the HUD can rest assured that it will come out eventually, and they can order it then. Those who can't wait for it can use the aftermarket.

Yeah I have to have car by summer '09 as well, and I desperately want HUD. I just don't see why GM cannot put the HUD that is in the Corvette into the Camaro for a year until the new one is ready, I mean really it can't be that hard, and they will get money faster that they desperately need!

HUD = Heads Up Display

Basically, it projects your speed, as well as other info (blinkers, radio station etc) up onto your windshield so you don't have to look down while driving.

Heres an example..

HUD is short for "Heads Up Display." This is an option the projects a small transparent digital speedometer and tach onto the lower part of the windsheild slightly below you line of vision out of the windsheild, this way you dont have to look down to check the guages. no no no shank. This is about the HUD. T-tops are for another thread, but asking for them is pointless. the structure requires solid roof rails above the door, that is incompatible with t-tops. Get yourself a sawsall if you really want them that bad. Oh, and a couple extra blades too. You'll probably need them
