Rattling noise + Engin Check Light on! - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Does somebody know what kind of part this is ( picture ) ?

There is a pretty loud rattling noise coming from that direction ( that I can here from inside the car ) and when I touch this part ( which I can read "Bosch" on) and kind of apply some pressure on it by pushing it down , the noise gets louder and I can tell it is coming from that part. The check engine light came on a day before the rattling noise started. And I'm still waiting on my check engine light code reader the I ordered, but I'm pretty sure the noise and check engine light have something to do with each other ..

What is the dtc? That part is the EVAP purge solenoid, they can make a lot of racket.

@JerTM not to sure where I can find the etc!? But yes I found the part its the Evaporator Emission Canister Purge Solenoid Valve. Thank you ! The part no. is : GM 12610560

I have the problem with my 2015 Camaro convertible but I remember hearing this noise intermittently from my 2014 .. So I think this may be not normal but probably not a strong problem to the Camaro. But the Check engine light is on, So I'm assuming the part is broken. I'm also feeling a very high gas usage so that might have something todo with it as well.
