The Mustangs are fast cars, but without a decent driver they can be beat. I saw a guy in a GT 500 running 15-18 second 1/4 mile times. Yes, that car should have been running mid 12's, but the driver was simply unable to get it done. At least he was at the track trying to learn, instead of sitting around bench racing.

I'm just curious how so many people are so bad at roll racing. If you aren't able to do it properly then you are mentally handicapped and shouldn't be driving anyway.

Im pretty sure accept the last person above you, we were all talking about drag racing at the drag racing strip? A place where it takes some skill to be fast. even with the auto guys.

No. Because I know the guys I've beat were actually stock. Anyone can tune a mustang and line up against some guy in a camaro and claim stock. Seen it done millions of times before and brag how they "fooled" you to other people

Stock 1LE with me = 12.991 best
Stock 2013 GT500, barely faster with new driver.... First run he blew the tires off, stayed in it, fishtailed and almost hit the wall. 2nd run my nose was at his front fender and third run I was at his door..... Said he owned a ZL1 too at it was much easier to drive....(no kidding) My best race to date in my 1LE was a new 5.0GT.......it was mirror to mirror from launch to finish. -Matt

Mid 12s is a big stretch. With a tire it can happen for sure, but stock its far from the norm. Upper 12s to low 13s yes.

2010 auto Camaro were turd, plain and simple. The tune was horrible stock. A tune and headers will do wonders now!!

I ran that exact same time in my 10ss with no mods expect headers. No tune, no cold air.. nothing more. I pulled a few 12.60s @112 with a few 113 traps, I cant drive stick all that great either! So just because you never met one, dont mean sh$t! Good pass BTY, we would have been neck and neck.
