Im running the RHS block in 427ci and running a Procharger F3 which should end up over the 2000rwhp range and I previously had the LSX block and can tell you their is a huge difference in the weight.

Rumors going around a certain vette will be switching from a billet block to the dart block. This car happens to hold records so we will see if it holds 2000hp+.
RHS is only good to that 1500hp mark than starts to shit the bed. |

Yes Carlyle is running the Dart block this year and will be badass. I have to disagree with you on the RHS Joe Dedonna has been running the exact engine I have with and F3 on it and running low 7's for a long time with no issues. Tony Bischoff of BES Race Engines spec'd my motor for me and Im pretty confident he knows what he is doing as he holds MANY records with his engines.

Almost finished a build on my Camaro. Ls next iron block.
– Dragonslayer 4 inch crank – callies HD I-beams – wiseco coated pistons – 8.8:1 CR rotating assembly was SPEC' D to 1500 HP block can handle way more. Also, go with a 4.125 bore if it is the first tim you're building using the ls next block. That way if something goes wrong and you end up scoring the cylinder walls, you can just over boar to a 4.155 and have a 434. also, the oil pan along with the remote oil filter can be a b#tch to source.
